About the Role

Pindan Contracting is seeking the services of several Civil and Building Supervisors to join the team. These roles will be FIFO out of Perth on either a 3:1 roster or a 15:6 roster, dependant on project requirements.

As a Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • The day to day organisation of plant, materials and labour for the work, including purchasing of materials, and hiring necessary equipment, plant or subcontract services;
  • Assuming responsibilities for the quality and efficiency of work at a job site, or several separate job sites;
  • Providing solutions/corrective actions/disposition;
  • Controlling processes pending corrective actions;
  • Strict adherence to safe working practices at job sites, training, preparation of JSAs, conduct of toolbox and site safety meetings, preparation of safety statistics and reports and, where necessary, the lodgement of returns to client or governmental authorities.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A Minimum of 5 years’ experience and a proven track record working in a similar position within the commercial construction industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook as well as experience in the use of construction programmes
  • Excellent organisational and management skills with the ability to work under pressure
